Qui Si Sana | An introduction.

Qui Si Sana is a prime area located in Sliema, a beautiful paved stretch with Font Ghadir on one end and Fort Cambridge on the other.

This attractive area has rocky beaches with easy accessible swimming zones along it’s coastline, one of the most popular promenades in Malta!

Qui Si Sana is an Italian phrase meaning ‘here there is health’ and with the peaceful and superb view who wouldn’t feel healthy!  If you happen to look across, the skyline offers open blue sea, waves crashing into the rocks in the wintertime, people strolling along the promenade or sitting in one of the various kiosks, restaurants and cafes.

During the summer months, a view of an oil-like painting of flat blue sea, people lounging in the sun and swimming along the beaches, yachts, boats and the occasional cruise liners and catamarans crossing far out at sea, and if that’s not enough for your eyes to gaze on, to your right you can find a beautiful green garden with grass to lay in, swings for the kids as well as outdoor gym equipment for those active days!

Qui Si Sana | Lifestyle.

Summer and winter see a different ray of this beautiful place, with its quiet and tranquil feel in the winter as people stroll along the promenade or enjoy a bite to eat or a drink in one of the many establishments.  Traffic can be a little manic during the week as people go about their busy days, getting to and from work or to the nearby Sliema Ferries to do some shopping!  Saturdays can be just as busy since all shops are open all day from 09.00-19.00.  Sunday is a day of rest in Malta, being a country of 98% Christians, most shops are closed on this day leaving the area a little quieter and simply left for leisurely wining, dining, strolling and beaching!

The summer season is spread over May –October and the beaches are filled with people swimming or just lazing about in the sun working on their tan!  With so many options of areas to swim in here, it is rarely packed when compared to other beaches around Sliema.  The area also comprises of three fantastic lidos that are extremely popular amongst locals and tourists alike.

Qui Si Sana is a five minute walk from the Sliema Ferries and a stone’s throw away from Fort Cambridge.  In close proximity you can find football indoor and outdoor pitches, a large gym as well as endless options for fitness classes scattered around that area, including yoga classes on the beach a few steps away from your doorstep.

If that’s not enough, there is also a beautiful public garden, paved all round, with green grass to lie on.  Many can be seen lying there hiding in a shady spot on a hot summers day!  The garden also has swings for children as well as a public outdoor gym from air walkers to other equipment for everyone to use.

Qui Si Sana | Views.

There are three types of views that one can have in this area.  The options here are sea views which also overlook the public garden, lidos or solely an open view of promenade and the sea. The choice of which view is best would fully depend on your preference, we recommend any of these areas as they are equally beautiful and unique!  If you have young children then perhaps being closer to the park and lidos may be a better option for you.  It is an extremely sought after area and is a very prestigious area to live in for those who can afford it.

This is also a great area for office space due to its central location many businesses from start up companies to large firms are set up here!
